Ruby Letzelter

Ruby Letzelter, 94, passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, December 3, 2017, and is now resting eternally with God.
She was born May 20, 1923 in Amsterdam, OH. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Jack and her sister, Mary Girt.  
She was a loving mother and devoted wife. There were no strangers in her life.  She always had hugs, kind words and the most wonderful smile to bring joy and comfort to all. Those who knew her were instantly attracted to her beautiful laughing blue eyes, a memory her daughter will always keep close to her heart.
Survivors include her daughter Donna (Tom) Michael, her son John, siblings Stella Bender and George Gipalo, sister-in-laws Barbara Steele, Georgia Brooks and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Ruby's life will be at Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville, on Friday, Dec 8, 2017.  Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon followed immediately by a Prayer Service at the funeral home and burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  
A memorial Mass will be announced later to be held at St. John Paul II Church in Louisville, KY where Ruby resided for the last six years.
The family wants to extend special thanks to Melba Harris her caregiver, friend and the staff of the Episcopal Church Home for their kindness.
In lieu of flowers the family requests an expression of sympathy be made to the Alzheimer Association.
