Albin "Al" Waszkiewicz

Albin “Al” Waszkiewicz, 81, of Steubenville died Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Trinity West. He was born August 26, 1939 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Boleslaus “Bill Whistle” and Sophie Exterovich Waszkiewicz.

Al worked at M&M Hardware for many years. He loved taking his 1964 Corvette to car shows. He was a graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School class of 1951.

Surviving are his wife Kathy Fisher Waszkiewicz, whom she married September 11, 2007; one daughter Samantha (Devin) Kennedy of Wintersville; one brother Raymond (Darene) Waszkiewicz of Steubenville; one sister Patricia Madden of Wintersville; grandchildren James and Gracie Kennedy; nephew Josh Madden-Little and niece Jennifer Crouch.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 1-4 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral service will be held Monday at 10 at the funeral home, Fr. Tom Nau will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
