Alfred Zinno Obituary

Alfred Zinno, 93, of Wintersville died Sunday, September, 19, 2021 at his home. He was born March 6, 1928 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Antonio and Beatrice Dalbenzio Zinno. He is also preceded in death by his long time companion Milly Porreca.

Alfred was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel where he worked in the 80 inch roller for many years. He was a member of Theta Chi Alpha fraternity, American Legion Post 33 and the PAC. Alfred was a life long supporter of Big Red Sports and loved playing cards on Sunday with friends. He was an avid golfer and proudly served his country in the Navy during the Korean War and WWII.

Surviving are one son Doug (Marie) Zinno of Bonita Springs, FL; one daughter Rene Miller of Columbus; one brother Dominic (Shirley) Zinno of Steubenville; three grandchildren John, Lindsey, Joshua (Danielle) Miller and one great grandson Gavin.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 11 am until time of services at 1 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Burial will be private and at a later date. Pastor Jason Elliott will officiate.

Memorial donations may be made to the Prime Time Center Meals on Wheels, 300 Lovers Lane, Steubenville, OH 43952.
