Ann E. "Betty" Trainor

Ann E. “Betty” Trainor, 97, of Steubenville, died peacefully in her sleep Saturday, October 28, 2023 at The Laurels of Steubenville. She was born September 6, 1926 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Richard and Jennie Blackam Winstel. She is also preceded in death by her husband William Trainor; sisters Renee Cortez and Lee Glikes.

Betty was a member of Triumph of the Cross Parish and retired from the former St. John Medical Center. She was known for her quick sense of humor and kind heart.

Surviving are many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews all of whom loved her very much and affectionately called her “Aunt Betty”.

Friends are invited to a Funeral Liturgy with Mass that will be held Thursday at 1 pm at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
