Obituary

Audrey Jane Agresta, 91 of Steubenville, died Wednesday June 15, 2022 at Lancia Villa Royale. She was born October 13, 1930 in Mingo Jct. She is the daughter of the late John and Anna D’Antonio DiThomas, Jane is also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond A. Agresta.

Jane was a  member of the former St. Anthony Catholic Church and now Holy Family Catholic Church and its CWC; the Steubenville Women’s  Club, Prime Time, and the Alzheimer's support group of Steubenville. She was the recipient of the Jefferson County Care giver of the year award in 2013 for the care she gave to her husband, Ray who passed away from Alzheimer disease.

Surviving are her two sons, Raymond M. (Emanuela) Agresta and Gregory J. (Jennifer) Agresta both of Steubenville. Three grandchildren,  Alexandra (Blake) Carroll, Robbie (Mary), Johnny and one great grandson, Michael.

Jane graduated from Steubenville Catholic Central High School and the Good Samaritan School of Nursing in Zanesville. After graduating she was a nurse at Gill Memorial, Ohio Valley and St. John Hospitals.

Mass and entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery were held privately on Monday.

Memorial donations may be made to Steubenville City Schools, Agresta Family Scholarship Fund or the Jefferson County Humane Society.
