Barbara J. Karamanolis

Barbara Jean Karamanolis, 75, of Wintersville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. She was born December 20, 1948 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Dominic Trabucco and Rosemary Drayer Keenan. She is also preceded by siblings Ricky, Mike, Tandra, Tish and special family members Cosmo and Antoinette Paoloemilio.

Barbara was a devoted Catholic who loved to play card games, make crafts, and spend time with her family. She retired from Big Bear. Barbara was a graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School class of 1966 and Jefferson Technical College.

Surviving are her husband James Karamanolis; three daughters, Christina “Tina” King Dewess, Gina (Dave) Waggoner, and Shari Karamanolis; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Siblings Julie, Bonnie, Crystal, and Bobby.

Calling hours will be held Monday from 4-6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be Tuesday at 10 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fr. Matthew Gossett will celebrate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
