Barbara A. Scugoza

Barbara A. Scugoza, 81, of Steubenville died Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Trinity West. She was born March 31, 1940 in Newark, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Thomas and Rose Bisogno Farese. She is also preceded in death by her husband Joseph N. Scugoza; brothers Vito and Dennis Farese.

Barbara was a homemaker and was Catholic by faith.

Surviving are fours sons Joseph (Delores “DeeDee”) of Steubenville, David (Chrissie) of Point Pleasant, NJ, Dennis (Christine) of Steubenville and Louis (Bettina) of Anza, CA; one daughter Rosemary (Patrick) Flanagan of Steubenville; one brother Thomas Farese of San Francisco; one sister Mary Falgares of Clark, NJ; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 2-6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Burial will be held at a later date in New Jersey.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Brayden Tipton’s Benefit, 390 Lovers Lane, Steubenville, OH 43952.
