Barry Darryl Mosti
January 29, 1940—June 25, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barry Mosti, of Miami, Florida. Born and raised in Morgan, Pennsylvania, Barry lived a life defined by loyalty, laughter, hard work and the relationships he built along the way.
Barry was the beloved son of the late Theodore and Edna Mosti, devoted brother of Dale Mosti, cherished uncle of Dena Mosti, and a dear friend to countless people whose lives were brighter because he was in them.
To his family, Barry will always be remembered for his unwavering loyalty, honesty, commitment, quick wit and remarkable talent in the kitchen. To his friends, he was the person you could always count on—the one who worked hard, laughed often and had a gift for turning ordinary moments into unforgettable memories.
Barry also had a special place in his heart for animals. His beloved cat crew knew a life filled with love, fresh air, good food and gentle care because of him.
The measure of a life is found in the people—and animals—it touches and Barry leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity and joy that will continue to live on in those who knew and loved him.
He is already missed beyond words, but we take comfort in knowing that love never truly leaves us. Until we meet again, Barry will forever remain in our hearts.
Friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Melrose Cemetery in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026.
Donations in his honor can be made to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15237
