Obituary
Barry L. “Nick” Nicholas, 72, of Steubenville Saturday, passed away January 14, 2023 at Allegheny General Hospital. He was born March 23, 1950 in Bethlehem, PA. He is the son of the late Melvin Sr. and Minerva George Nicholas. He is also preceded in death by one brother Melvin “Sonny” Nicholas Jr.
Barry was retired from Kaufmann’s and Macy’s where he was a regional manager for 40 years. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, and going to the beach. He was also an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies sports fan. Nick was also a graduate of Robert Morris University.
Surviving are his wife Carolyn Federico Nicholas, whom he married August 24, 1974; two daughters Andrea Nicholas Hosty and Amber Nicholas of Columbus, OH; two grandchildren Landyn and Lleyton (Hosty), and his dog Luca.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 12 pm until time of services at 2 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
