Benita Morelli

Benita Morelli, formerly of Wintersville, passed away at her home in Blacklick, Ohio. The eldest child of the late Benjamin Morelli, and Theresa (Cipriani) Morelli, Benita was born November 16, 1948.  

She graduated from Wintersville High School and the Jefferson Technical Institute. She was retired from Ohio Health in Columbus. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Theresa, and brother-in law, John Tarr.  Benita is survived by her siblings Marylin Tarr, Denise Ferrie, David (Mindell) Morelli, and Lynette (David) Baker. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much: Jacqueline (Clarence) Jones, Benjamin ( Tammy) Tarr, Ronald (Lindsey) Ferrie, Melissa (Jeff Strader) Baker, and Michael Baker, and a host  of aunts, and cousins. Family was everything to Benita, and she will be missed by all.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 22, from 10 am until time of services at 12 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
