Betty S. Woods

Betty S. Woods, 80,of Wintersville, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday September 13,2025 at her home. Betty was born July 14,1945 in Helena, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Cobbins Howard.

Betty was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She was a homemaker and was Baptist by faith.

Surviving are her husband Samuel Woods Sr. her children, Doris Brandon, Vanessa Brandon, both of Chicago, Lolita (Damone) Bailey of Steubenville and Samuel (Glory) Woods of Wintersville. Her siblings; James Howard of Wisconsin, Susie Green  of Chicago, and Dollie Jackson of Florida. Betty has nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

Betty will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends that loved her.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 11:00 am until the time of the services at 1:00pm at Mosti Funeral Home Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville.
