Carole E. Lathem

Carole E. Connelly Lathem, 86, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024. She was born on February 26th, 1937 in Follansbee to the late Lawrence W. Connelly Sr. And Alice Mae Huntsman Connelly. She is also preceded in death by her brother Larry Connelly Jr. and an infant daughter Rose Ann Lathem.

She leaves behind her sister Alicia Connelly, her four children Jack (Glenna) Kennedy, Susan (Mark) Fisher, Tom Lathem Jr. and Jim (Annie) Lathem, seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

Carole graduated from Steubenville Catholic Central High School in 1955. She was an active member of the Woman of the Moose Lodge #619 until it's closure. She worked at Hu Nan's restaurant until her retirement. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her. May she rest in peace.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 3-6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be held Wednesday at 11:30 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fr. Matt Gossett will celebrate. Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
