Catherine O. Doran

Catherine O. Doran, 81, of Steubenville died Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Villa Vista. She was born November 24, 1941 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Virgil and Mary Mosblack Walker. She is also preceded in death by her husband Richard and brother Mark Walker.

Catherine was retired from Diary Mart where she was the manager for many years. She was a member of Triumph of the Cross Parish. Catherine loved bowling, cooking, the holidays, playing pogo on the computer and her grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons Richard “Rick” of Toronto and Michael of Westerville; one daughter Janet Doran of Steubenville; brother Paul (Sandy) Walker of Steubenville; Companion, Larry Swaykus, two grandchildren Ryan and Haylee; three great grandchildren Skyla, Starlie, Quinn and one on the way.

Calling hours will be Monday from 3-6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fr. Matt Gossett will celebrate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
