Catherine L. "Cathy" Kalish

Catherine L. “Cathy” Kalish, 65, of Steubenville died Friday, March, 26, 2021 at Valley Hospice. She was born January 20, 1956 in Steubenville, Ohio, a daughter of the late William and Anna (Danko) Kalish. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Rose Kalish and one brother Anthony (Tony) Danko.

Cathy worked as the legal secretary for the City of Steubenville Law Director for many years. She was a graduate of Steubenville High School class of 1974.

Surviving are two sisters Deborah (Charles) Bodnar of Wintersville and Rebecca Kalish of Steubenville; nephews Christopher Danko, Alex Bodnar and Erik Virtue; nieces Jennifer Danko, Cheyenne Bodnar and her cat Boomer.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 3-7 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be Wednesday at 10 am at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Fr. Tim Huffman will celebrate. Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
