Cathy Bise Obituary

Cathy Sue DiFilippo Bise, 60 of Wintersville, Ohio passed away on June 5, 2019 at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Cathy is preceded in death by her father Raymond DiFilippo and her brother David DiFilippo.

She was born in Steubenville, Ohio on April 20, 1959 to Raymond and Bernice Chmelovski DiFilippo. She was a graduate of Wintersville High School class of 1977.

Cathy is survived by her loving husband, Terry Bise who she married on March 26, 2004. She is also survived by her sons, Jason (Michelle) Geary of Pataskala, Ohio, Justin (fiancée, Rachel Mishko) of McDonald, Ohio. Her mother, Bernice DiFilippo of Manhattan, Kansas and her sister, Raelene (Lonnie) Dawson also of Manhattan, Kansas. Her six loves of her life, her grandchildren, Braidyn, Addy, Lexi, Ava, Noah and Olivia Geary. Her niece Amy Bise of Manhattan, Kansas and nephew, Adam Dawson of Little Rock AFB, Jacksonville, Arkansas. Her step-grandchildren, Emy and Ean Bise. Her step-children, Carrie Lynn Bise (Angie Felton), Kim Bise, Amanda Bise and Terrance P Bise. Many step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

At Cathy’s request there will be no services as she donated her remains for research. A private interment will be held at a later date. Cathy’s wish was for donations to be made to the Heart and Lupus foundations.
