Charles Kilmartin Obituary

Charles L. Kilmartin, died unexpectedly Sunday December 26, 2021 at The Carriage Inn of Steubenville. He was born February 22, 1942 in Toronto, OH. He is the son of the late James and Mary Miller Kilmartin.

Charles was a graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School. He was retired from Weirton Steel where he worked for many years. He served his country in the US Air Force. Charles had a sharp wit, loved all animals especially Bella Rae and Liam Patrick. He loved to fish, running, and reading. Charles was very proud of his Irish Heritage and he loved Notre Dame Football.

Surviving are one son Michael Kilmartin of Mingo Junction; one daughter Valerie Kilmartin of Mingo Junction; special friend Sharen Ault and her children Amber and Jason. Mother of his children and friend Rita Vargo Kilmartin; one brother James “Bucky “ (Mary Jane) Kilmartin of Weirton two sisters Rita Kilmartin of Follansbee and Mary Blair of Steubenville.
