Christopher A. Lawrence

Christopher A. Lawrence, 68, of Mingo Jct. Died Sunday, October 27, 2024 at the Wyant Woods Care Center in Akron. He was born December 24, 1955 in Steubenville. He is son of the late George and Anne Taylor Lawrence. He is also preceded in death by his wife Joan Potenzini Lawrence; brother David Smith; two sisters Georgianne Trazaskowa And Suzanne Lawrence.

Christopher was a retired Train Inspector for Conrail and Norfolk Southern where he worked for many years. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. Christopher loved playing basketball, running and playing softball in the men’s league at Labelle.

Surviving are one son Jeffrey (Teena Bowels) Lawrence of Knoxville, TN; one daughter Sarah (Dan) Chamlis of Columbus, OH; one sister Kim (John) Fornsaglio of Steubenville; two grandchildren Ethan Lawrence and Olivia Chamlis.

Visitation will be held Friday from 10 am until time of services at 11 am at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Fr. Jim Dunfee will officiate and burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
