Christy Slatniske

Christy Slatniske, 68, of Steubenville died Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Trinity West. She was born May 6, 1953 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Ernest and Phyllis Hixenbaugh Heaton. She is also preceded in death by one brother Rick Heaton.

Christy previously worked at Williams Country Club and was a homemaker. She was a member of AARP and attended Word of Life Church.

Surviving are her daughter Jessica (Robert) Morgan of Mingo Jct.; brother Terry Heaton of MO; long time friend Al DiPietro of Steubenville; grandchildren Ryan, Paige, Morgan and one great granddaughter Willow Corona.

Calling hours will be held Saturday from 9 am until time of services at 11 am at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Burial will follow in Fort Steuben Burial Estates. Pastor David Shores will officiate.
