Clifford "Cliff" Hanle, Jr.

Clifford “Cliff” Hanle Jr, 63, of Wintersville passed away peacefully surrounded by family Tuesday morning. 

Born June 11th 1961, he was the son of the late Charlotte Hanle and Clifford Hanle Sr. of Steubenville. He was preceded in death by his three siblings Patty Styer, Michael Hanle and Betty Jo Nicosia. 

He was a 1980 graduate of Steubenville High School and a hardworking loyal employee of Trinity Health System East, where he was employed for over 40 years. 

He leaves behind the love of his life and wife of 44 years, Patricia (Bevilacqua) of Wintersville, and his 5 children, Nicholas (Sara) Hanle of Lexington SC, Joseph (Katie) Hanle of Wintersville, Melissa (Troy) Dray of Mingo, Katie (Casey) Stewart of Bloomingdale and Emilee Hanle (Zack Barker) of Cannonsburg PA.

He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren that he lovingly adored, Kayden, Madison, Ella, Wren, Elizabeth, Brandon, Bennett, Chloe and Jackson and his beloved dog Hemi. 

Clifford was a member of the Wintersville Fire Department Auxiliary, loved Big Red and Raiders football, loved playing with his grandchildren, and listening to music.

Calling hours are Sunday 2-5 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Services will be held 11:00 am Monday at the funeral home. Pastor Dave Shores will officiate and burial will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
