David A. DiCarlo

David A. DiCarlo, 63, of Ionia, MI, formerly of Steubenville, died Friday, May 11, 2018 at his home. He was born April 29, 1955 in Steubenville. He is the son of Rudolph DiCarlo and the late Ruth Conn DiCarlo. 

David was retired from Rocky Flats and then Emergent Bio Solutions. He was a graduate of Steubenville High School class of 1973. He was also a member of the former St. Anthony's Catholic Church. David also enjoyed geocaching, traveling and collecting. 

Surviving in addition to his father are his wife Karen DiCarlo; one brother John DiCarlo of New Jersey; one sister Cindy Harda of Steubenville; two nephews Nicholas Harda and Tyler DiCarlo; brother in law Dennis Steele of Prescott MI; sister in law Carol (Russell) Steele Sherman of Laingsburg, MI; brother in law Gary (Sandy) Steele of Morrice, MI; several caring nieces and nephews and one special great niece Sadie.    

Calling hours will be Thursday from 5-7 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fr. Ryan Gray will celebrate. Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A vigil service will be Thursday at 5 pm.
