Donald Bell Obituary

Donald L. Bell, 88, of Steubenville died Thursday May 13, 2021 at Valley Hospice.
He was born May 3, 1933 in Unionport. He is the son of the late Frank and Ida Gibson Bell. Also preceding Donald in death were his three sisters, Jane Funk, Betty Weaver, and Kathleen Higgs.
Donald was a member of Triumph of the Cross Catholic Church and was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, Electrical Department and also HUD maintenance department.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Stankiewicz Bell, whom he married February 16, 1952; two sons, Frank (Leah) Bell of Steubenville and Chester Bell of Mingo Junction; two daughters, Carol (Richard) Hannah of Pickerington and Joanne (Robert) Straker of Steubenville; six grandchildren, and seven great- grandchildren.
Donald loved reading, musicals, fishing and working in his workshop.
Private visitation and mass at Holy Rosary were held today with burial at Union Cemetery.
