Donalyn Sutton

Donalyn Sutton, 72, of Bloomingdale passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Valley Hospice. She was born October 6, 1953 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Donald and Dorothy Mihalik Carter. Also preceding her in death are brother William Carter and niece Brett.

Donalyn was retired from Eastern Gateway Community College where she worked in admissions for many years. She was Catholic by faith and was a graduate of Steubenville High School class of 1972.

Surviving are her husband Richard Sutton, whom she married September 27, 1975; two sons Bryan (Melissia) of Steubenville and Cory (Jennifer) of Norton, OH; sister Linda (John) Miller of Steubenville; five grandchildren Matthew, Holly, Alden, Anna and Adalyn; nephews Aaron, Ryan, Josh, Jacob and Michael; nieces Lainey and Mendie.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 10 am until time of services at 1 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Fr. Jack McCoy will officiate and burial will follow in Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
