Doris E. “Snookie” Dallas, 89, of Steubenville died Friday, December 25, 2020 at the Carriage Inn of Steubenville. She was born March 1, 1931 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late John and Ellen “Nellie” Teaff Neidengard. Also preceding her in death is her husband Rommel “Yummy” Dallas.
Doris was the owner and operator of Dallas Mobile Homes, Doris E. Dallas Real Estate and Vice President of Steubenville Plate Glass until her retirement. She was Catholic by faith. Snookie was a kind soul known for her humorous personality and generosity. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Surviving are two sons Michael Dallas of Port Townsend, WA and Tommy (Linda) Dallas of Steubenville; one daughter Patricia Dallas of Steubenville; one brother John (Kim) Neidengard of Wintersville; one sister Marjorie (Lew) Bell of Port Townsend, WA; four grandchildren Patina Ighnat, Sasha (Shane) Alessi, Angela(Bryan) Dallas Walsh and Gianno Dallas; Two great grand children Brantley Alessi and Addison Alessi; several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Carriage Inn for their excellent care over the years.
Private services were held and burial was in Union Cemetery.
