Dorothy M. Carubia

Dorothy M. Carubia, 74, of Steubenville, died Thursday, March 12, 2020 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. She was born September 6, 1945 in Colliers, WV. She is the daughter of the late Charles and Goldien Kimball Rawson. Also preceding her in death are her husband Vincent Carubia and brother Charlie Rawson.

Dorothy worked in retail for many different stores including Walmart, Kay Jewelers, Kurtz Monuments and Valley Memorial. She loved gardening, crafting, reading her daily devotions and spending time with her girls.

Surviving are three daughters Vicki (Dale) Pate of Chesterland, OH, Lisa Carubia of Kent, OH and Dana Carubia of Steubenville; two brothers Fred Rawson of Weirton and Gary (Denise) Rawson of Mingo Jct.; three sisters Ruth Bracken of Kittaning, PA, Lydia Straight of Weirton and Gracie (Jimmy) Givens of Weirton.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 1-4 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A service will be held Monday at the funeral home at 10 am, Pastor Dave Parker will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to the funeral home to help with expenses.
