Edward Lamatrice Obituary

Edward L. Lamatrice, 81, of Steubenville passed away Monday, September 28, 2020 at his home. He was born November 30, 1938 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Wilbert and Josephine Giannamore Lamatrice. Also preceding him in death is one brother Mario Lamatrice.

Edward was retired from Weirton Steel where he worked for many years. He proudly served his country in U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion Post 33.

Surviving are his wife Dorothy Posovich Lamatrice; one son Mark (Karen) Lamatrice of Cambridge, OH; two daughters Renita (Robert) Douthit of Louisville, KY and Monica (Michael) Vok of Steubenville; one sister Patricia (Rodney) Lippert of VA; nine grandchildren Jack (Karly), Austyn, Justyn, Nick, Abby, Emma, Kaitlynn, Nate, Ella and one great grandson Karter.

Private services were held Friday and burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
