Edwin Ware, 90, of Weirton died Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at the Carriage Inn of Steubenville surrounded by his family.
He was born July 3, 1929 in Wyco, WV. He was the son of the late Rev. Edgar Bertran and Violet Wade Ware.
Also preceding him in death were his wife, Dorothy Trepanoski Ware; six brothers, Leslie, Junior, Wilbur, Wendall, Virgil and Victor Ware; five sisters, Eugenia âJeanieã Brock, Evelyn Knotts, Shirley Ware, Betty Simms and Dorothy Crickard.
Edwin was retired from Weirton Steel Coke Plant where he worked for many years. Edwin also served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle nature and love of friends, family, and neighbors.
Surviving are one brother, William "Bill" (Rosie) Ware of Fairview, WV; one brother-in-law, Frank (Judy) Trepanoski of Steubenville, OH, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Carriage Inn of Steubenville, OH, Southern Care Hospice, and Frank and Judy Trepanoski who so graciously provided loving, compassionate care for Edwin.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
