Edwina (Dinie) Wilson Obituary

Edwina (Dinie) Wilson, 87 of Steubenville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Gables Care Center after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Fred Wilson. Dinie was born August 8, 1933 in Fly, Ohio to Edwin and Martha (Rosenlieb) Pearce.

She is survived by her daughters Debbie Newman (Gary) of Stanwood, Michigan and Sandy Perlosky (Ed) of Steubenville, one sister Marge Alpino of St. Clairsville and one niece and nephew. She leaves behind 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She will be especially missed by her precious fur baby, Tommy, who was her comforting companion for many years.

Dinie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and a faithful friend. She always put the needs of others first. She enjoyed the beauty of nature, sewing, painting and conversing with her neighbors that she loved.

The family would like to thank Dr. Steven Kuruc for his wonderful care for many years and also her special friend Tina Shields who provided care , love and compassion.

Due the the current pandemic, all services will be private at the convenience of the family.
