Eirene C. Chaney

Eirene C. (Scavdis) Chaney 68 of Charleston, SC died Thursday July 19, 2018 at Hospice of Charleston. She was born April 5, 1950 in New York, NY. She is the daughter of the late Constantinos and Lamprine Zizes Scavdis, Eirene is also preceded in death by her brother; George, and two infant sisters, Aphroditie and Eirene. Eirene was a retired Echocardiogram Technician, and loved painting, poetry, the beach and her dogs. Surviving are her daughter; Georgiann "Gigi" Coluccio of Charleston, SC, two brothers, John (Ethel) Scavdis of Follansbee and Antonios (Linda) Scavdis of Tallmadge, OH and one sister, Euthalia "Sally" (Fred) Orend of Bridgeport, OH. Three grandchildren, Salvatore, Nicholas, and Max. Calling hours are Tuesday 2-4 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel 4435 Sunset Blvd. and on Wednesday at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church from 10 am until the time of services at 11am.
