Filomena DiStefano

Filomena Oddi DiStefano, 86, of Steubenville, OH, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Trinity Hospital West, Steubenville, OH. 
Filomena was born on March 6, 1935 in Pettorano sul Gizio, L'Aquila, Abruzzo, Italy. She is the daughter of the late Domenico and Concetta (Panza) Oddi. Filomena was married to Mario DiStefano who preceded her in death in 1959. 
Filomena was fiercely independent, a great mother, and a wonderful caretaker to her daughters, mother and sister. She was a seamstress by profession and an employee of Myer and Stone until retirement.  
Filomena is preceded in death (most recently) by her uncle Albert Panza, sister-in-law Christina Oddi (Germany), daughter Anna Maria (DiStefano) Hudgins, siblings Tonino Oddi (Germany) and Dina Oddi.
Filomena is survived by daughter, Concetta DiStefano of Weirton, WV, son-in-law, Ralph Hudgins of Moundsville, WV, uncle, John Panza, aunt, Anita (Panza) Wargo, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends are invited Thursday to a funeral service at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at 2 pm.
