Florence “Flo” Davison, 89, of Steubenville passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Valley Hospice. Flo was born on February 24, 1932 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Henry and Stella Zabic Olszewski. Flo was an employee of the Ohio Bureau of Jobs and Family Services. She was also a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by three sisters Josephine Albino, Mary Hudok and Betty Tarquinio
Surviving are her husband Richard “Gub” Davison, whom were married for 67 years; daughters Dawn (Robert) Stierwalt of Maumee, OH and Jill (Michael) Duska of Mingo Jct.; brother Henry Olszewski; sister Carol (William) Hannen; seven grandchildren Erin (Chase) Patzer of Chicago, Kelly Stierwalt of Toledo, Shawn (Corey) Calhoun of Chicago, Casey Stierwalt of Chicago, Elizabeth (Adam) Shoemaker of Palmyra, PA, Jake (Devon) Duska of Lancaster, OH and Andrew Duska of Mingo Jct.; four great grandchildren Emily Shoemaker, Jack Shoemaker, Davison (Davi) Patzer and Beau Calhoun.
Private services will be held and burial will be held at a later date.
The family requests in lieu of flowers or for those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to Jefferson County Humane Society in Flo’s name.
