Frank Bernert

Frank J. Bernert died August 5, 2020 at Trinity Hospital of natural causes. He was 90 years old. Frank is survived by his wife of 64 years Helen Cybulski Bernert, children Karen Porreca, David and Mary Grace Bernert, Michael Bernert, and Shawn and Lisa Bernert, along with nine beautiful grandchildren Lindsey Hostetter, Jordan Porreca, Aleks Porreca, Samantha Garber, Danielle Bernert, Rachel Blankenship, Matthew Bernert, Mikayla Bernert and Shauna Bernert. Frank served in the Korean Conflict from 1950 to 1952. He was a member of Triumph of the cross Catholic Church, retired from Ohio Bell Telephone with 43 years of service, and was a life long resident of Steubenville. He was an exemplary husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Friends are invited to a funeral liturgy with mass 10am Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Mask are required at the Church.
