Frederick E. “Joe” Luscher 83 of Steubenville died Friday March 19, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, unexpectedly. He was born February 9, 1938 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Frederick I. and Daisy Petkovich Luscher. Joe is also preceded in death by sister, Margaret “Pooch” Mosser. Joe was retired from Weirton Steel, Tin Mill Department after 42 years of service and was a Methodist by faith. Surviving are his wife, Janice Lippert Luscher whom he married April 7, 1962. Two sons, Lee (Tammy) Luscher of Surfside Beach, SC and Lance (Heather) Luscher of New Albany, OH one daughter, Lesley (Mike) Gulan, of Steubenville. One sister, Loretta “Tiny” (Virgil) Ialenti of Wintersville. Four grandchildren, Mitchell, Maddox, and Myla Gulan, and Lexa Luscher. One nephew Bill Mosser (Ella) of Weirton, WV. Also surviving is his faithful canine companion, Daisy. Joe was a member of the Big Red Boosters and had a love of cars, watching sports, westerns and spending time with his family who adored him.
