Hazel Hendershot

Hazel Hendershot, 91 of Steubenville, died Thursday, May 6, 2021 at the Carriage Inn Nursing Home.

She was born May 1, 1930 in Wetzel County, WV, a daughter of the late Sherman Wright and Estella Wildman Wright.

She was a very giving person and loving mother of her daughter Elaine Hendershot who resides at Shaffer Plaza.

  She was a protestant by faith and attended Rosemont Chapel.

        Surviving is her daughter, Elaine Hendershot; her brother, Harry Wright and his wife, Matilda Wright; and many nephews and nieces.

        Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Katie Florence Wright, Mary Pethtel, and Mable Barker; and three brothers, Delmar Wright, George Wright, and Kenneth Wright.

        Calling hours are Tuesday 11am until the time of services at 1pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd . Steubenville,Officiating will be Pastor Ray Cooper and Sonny Shoe. Burial will be at Highland Hills Memorial Park, Follansbee.
