Helen A. Marini July 9, 1925 - May 10, 2021 Helen A. Marini, 95, of Garden Grove, CA, died Monday, May 10, 2021, in St Joseph Hospital, Orange, CA. She was born July 9, 1925, in Steubenville, OH, the daughter of the late Michele Villamagna and Angeline DiRosso Villamagna. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Gabriel Marini of Wintersville OH, four brothers, Geno Villamagna of Steubenville, Frank Villamagna of Steubenville, Tony Villa of Canton, OH, Nick DiRoss of Scottsdale, AZ., and one grandson, John Marini Jr. of Wintersville. She is survived by three daughters, Nancy L. (Stephen) Felkner of Garden Grove, CA, Linda M. Marini (Robert Patchin) of Nashville, TN, and Janet L. Marini of Daytona Beach, FL, and one son, John K. (Shari) Marini Sr. of Wintersville; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Helen was a graduate of Catholic Central High School, and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Wintersville. While in high school she began working as a sales clerk and a window display designer at both J.C. Penny and The Hub department store. After graduation she worked in the office of Weirton Steel Corp. Helen was a great cook and very kind and generous to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by all her children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held at Mt Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in her name to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org
