Helen Tiberio Obituary

Helen Candelore Tiberio, 103, of Steubenville died Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at the Carriage Inn of Steubenville. She was born June 25, 1918 in Youngstown, OH. She is the daughter of the late James and Mary Costello Candelore. She is also preceded in death by her husband Wilbur “Woody” Tiberio; one son Joseph Tiberio; four brothers Joseph, Albert, William and Gene Candelore.

Helen was retired from Kaufmanns and Macy’s where she worked many years. She also was a volunteer in the gift shop at Trinity West Hospital. Helen was a member of Triumph of the Cross Parish and it’s CWC.

Surviving are one son Wilbur (Delores) Tiberio of Wintersville; one daughter Dolores “Dolly” McCormack of Mingo Jct.; one sister Phyllis Squiric of Texas; six grandchildren Jimmy & Sherry McCormack, Mike Tiberio, Jo Ann Armstrong, Lisa Tiberio and Sharon Eschleman; eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Private services will be held by the family and burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
