Helena Lyons Obituary

Helena M. “Lena” Lyons, 97, of Steubenville died Friday, March 27, 2020 at her home. She was born October 5, 1922 in Canonsburg, PA. She is the daughter of the late John and Theresa DeStefano Easter. Also preceding her in death are brothers Louis, Jack and Tony; sisters Rose, Maggie, Julia, Thelma and nephew Michael Zrinyi.

Helena worked in the housekeeping department at St. John’s Medical Center for many years. She was also a member of Triumph of the Cross Parish.

Surviving are one son Richard (Jennifer) Lyons of Austintown and one grandson Richard Lyons. She was also a loving aunt to Ethel (John) Scavdis and to her great nieces.

A funeral liturgy with Mass was held Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church and entombment was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
