Ida Marie Vankirk

Ida Marie (Camerlengo) Vankirk of Steubenville, passed away at home on Wednesday August 21, 2024 after an extended illness. She was born on June 5, 1947 in Steubenville, the daughter of the late Mario and Mary (Mitzi) Relotto Camerlengo. Ida was also preceded in death by her sister Marlene Riley, and brother-in-law David Riley. 

Ida is survived by her beloved daughter, Pennie Marie Vankirk, niece Jennifer Riley Jackson and nephew David (Colleen) Riley, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews;  Ethan Jackson, Ali Jackson, Ava Riley and Madisyn Kelly. 

Also surviving are many cousins and friends, who Ida cherished throughout her lifetime.

She graduated from Steubenville High School class of 1965, and was a devoted daughter, mother and aunt. Ida enjoyed music, shopping, vacations and traveling. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Pennie, family members and friends. 

Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, August 24 from 10 am until time of services at 12 pm at the Mosti Funeral home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Interment will be private.
