James was the son of the late Armand and Helen DeBlasio Cola. A man of generous spirit who fed his family with homemade pasta and cookies.  When Jimmy was not working at the US Postal Service downtown, he was happiest trekking around Jefferson Sportsmen Club, fishing early morning, returning with a cooler full of fish shared with the family.  The world is a touch quieter without his big laugh.
