James P. Donnelly

James P. Donnelly, 79, of Wintersville died Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Trinity West Hospital. He was born March 5, 1940 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late John and Artella Stockglass Donnelly. He is also preceded in death by two brothers Joseph and John Donnelly; one sister Dorothy Caniff.

James was retired from Weirton Steel where he worked in the blooming and sheet mills for over 40 years. He was also a member of Jefferson County Sportsman Association, American Legion 557, PNA and the Weirton Moose Club.

Surviving are one son Jeff Donnelly of Steubenville; one daughter Lorrie Cade of Unionport; two sisters Diane Donnelly of Carrollton and Carol (George) McAfee of Hopedale; ex-wife Karen Donnelly of Wintersville.  

Calling hours will be Monday from 2-5 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Burial will take place in Mt. Calvary at a later date.
