Obituary

Janet K. Irvin, 55, of Wintersville died Sunday, March 27, 2022 at her home. She was born July 5, 1966 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late James and Alice Tanczuk Lynch.

Janet was the office manager for her husband’s dental practice. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and was a graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School class of 1984.

Surviving are her husband Dr. Jack Irvin, whom she married November 26, 1988; two sons John (Samantha) Irvin III of Columbus and Joseph Irvin of Steubenville; grandson Dominic and expected soon twin granddaughters Isla and Emma.  

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 3-6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, Fr. Drake McAlister will celebrate. Burial will be private and at a later date in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A vigil service will be held Tuesday at 5:15pm.
