Jean Zrinyi

Jean Zrinyi, 93, of Follansbee died Friday, July 24, 2020 at Trinity West. She was born November 5, 1926 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Cesare and Jennie Renda Agresta. Also preceding her in death are her husband Victor Zrinyi, Sr.; son John Zrinyi; brothers Dr. Joseph Agresta and Raymond Agresta.

Jean was a retired secretary for former prosecuting attorney James Borokosi. She was also a member of Triumph of the Cross Church and Catholic Women’s Club. Jean was also an avid bowler.

Surviving are two sons Victor (Beverly) Jr., Zrinyi of Wintersville and Eugene Zrinyi of Wintersville; brother Dr. Ronald (Jill) Agresta of Steubenville; seven grandchildren: Victor Zrinyi III, Christopher (Cassie) Zrinyi, Anthony (Rachel) Zrinyi, Drs. Keith (Ellen) Zrinyi, Eugene Zrinyi Jr (Mary Parson, companion), Misty (Ben) McGraw, and Ashley (Nathan) Powell.

Surviving also are nine great grandchildren: Ryan (Camy) Zrinyi, Shane Zrinyi, Jackie Zrinyi, Nicole McGraw, Allison McGraw, Dominic Zrinyi, Jordan Koons, Hannah Zrinyi, Charlotte Zrinyi plus two babies to be born in August.

Calling hours will be Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 12 pm until time of Mass at 1 pm. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Fr. Tom Nau will celebrate.
