Jerome F. Coniker

Jerome F. Coniker, age 79, died on July 4, 2018, at 9:10 p.m., at his daughter Maureen’s home in Kenosha, WI.

He was born on November 2, 1938 in Chicago, IL and is the husband of Servant of God Gwen Coniker, father of 13, grandfather of 75, great-grandfather of 11 and counting, and founder, with his late wife, of the Apostolate for Family Consecration and Catholic Familyland.

Preceding him in death are his wife, Gwen, his twelfth child, Angelica, his parents John W. and Margaret (Cummings) Coniker, and a brother Bill Coniker.

Jerome Coniker is survived by 12 children and their spouses, 75 grandchildren, and 11 and counting great-grandchildren: Maureen (husband Matthew, children Cheryl, Joshua, Jacob, Christina, Justin, Cynthia, Catherine, Cecilia, Joseph, and John); Kathy (husband Michael, children Vincent, Jessica, Jacqueline, and Samantha); Laurie (husband Kevin, children Sarah, Ryan, Patrick, and Margaret); Margaret (husband Peter, children Nicholas, Nicole, Kristin, Grace, and Kaitlyn); Sharon (husband Joseph, children Joseph, Elizabeth, Christopher, Jeremiah, and Kara); Michael (wife Marie, children Austin, Kyle, Luke, Jerome, Mark, and Christy); Robert (wife Nisan, children Anthony, Adrianna, John, Micheala, Monica, Julia, Ethan, and David); Joseph (wife Aleli, children Marianna, Brendan, Brian, Daniella, Benjamin, and Brady); James (wife Karen, children Sophia and Lorenzo); Maria (husband Kevin, children Katerina, Gabriella, Andrew, and Emma; Theresa (husband Ken, children Isabella, Isaac, Alexandra, Hope, Xavier, and Maximilian); and Mary (husband Nathan, children Thomas, Nicolette, Kolbe, Sienna, Noelle); sister Mary Ann Presberg and her twelve children: Charles Presberg, Ken (Suzanne) Presberg, Peggy Cajka, Linda (Ted) Eck, Richard (Kathy) Presberg, Sue Presberg, Larry Presberg, Judy (Eric) Nygard, Jeff (Kristin) Presberg, John “Jay” (Nicole) Presberg, Ann (German) Martinez, and Mary Presberg; his brother, Bill’s son, Christopher Coniker; and the many members and friends of the Apostolate for Family Consecration.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 11, from 4–9 p.m. at St. John Vianney Chapel, Catholic Familyland, Bloomingdale, OH.

Thursday, July 12, wake at 9:30 a.m. with funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Auditorium, Catholic Familyland, Bloomingdale, OH.
