Jerry W Krupinski 83 of Steubenville passed away peacefully on the morning of Monday July 22, 2024. The son of John and Wanda (Kubinski) Krupinski he was a proud 1958 graduate of Adena high school. He served his country as a US Marine.
Ever vigilant in his faith and service to the church, He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. President and Administrator of the K of C Youth Camp, A long time member of the Knights of Columbus, he served as Grand Knight, 4th degree Knight, parish Council, lector, Eucharistic minister, he represented the diocese bishops Catholic conference, and he was awarded the Caritas Medal in 1977 by Bishop John King Mussio for his service to the youth and the faith of the diocese of Steubenville. He was a member of the Jefferson County Democratic Executive Committee for 56 years.
His careers included a coal miner for the Y&O coal Co, many years in the insurance industry, six years as Jefferson County commissioner and 14 years representing the 98th Ohio House district as a state representative.
His belief and selfless service permeated every part of his life. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his first wife, Karen Kokovich Krupinski and his brothers, John, Jake and Joey, and Great-Grandson Connor. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years Eileen (Bennett) Krupinski, his three children, Scott (Stacey) of Columbus, Todd (Mandy) of Wintersville and Erin (Brady) Householder of Hopedale. His grandchildren, Ava, Sarah, Keleigh, Chase, Devin, Ray, Rylan, Holland, Tylor, Trey, numerous great grandchildren and his beloved dog Daisy.
Calling hours are Thursday 4:00 pm to 7:00pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated 10:00 am Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Fr. Drake McCalister, celebrant. Burial will be at Olive Branch Cemetery, Harrisville, OH.
