Jessie Hightower Obituary

Jessie L. Hightower, 77, of Wintersville, died Monday, May 4, 2020 at Valley Hospice. He was born June 23, 1942 in Pinehurst, GA. He is the son of the late Willie and Queen Easter Hightower. He is also preceded by his wife Elanor Grimm; sisters Katie Mae Hightower, Easter B. Solomon, Mary Hightower, Hattie Hightower and Willie Mae Hightower; brothers Willie James, John and Wade Hightower.

Jessie worked at the Express Car Wash in Weirton.

Surviving are two sons Sunta Grimm of Steubenville and Bobby (Fawn) Hightower of Unadilla, GA; daughter Teka (James) Lanham of Steubenville; sisters Odell Hightower of Wierton, Amanda Bukles of Atlanta, GA and Annie Mae Hooten of Marshallville, GA; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Jessie’s wishes were to be cremated. Burial will take place at a later date in Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
