JoAnn Welday

JoAnn (Costantini) Welday, 86, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026 at the Laurels of Steubenville.

Born on August 28, 1939 in Steubenville, Ohio, JoAnn was the beloved daughter of Joseph and MaryAnn (Gregorski) Costantini. She lived a life marked by kindness, dedication to and love for her family. Her greatest accomplishment in life, in her eyes, was being a Mother (Mom) and a Grandmother (Grandma/Grams).

JoAnn was known for her years of working in the Dental Industry as an Office Manager.  She touched the lives of many through her generosity, compassion, and unwavering support of those she loved and cared for.

A Graduate of Catholic Central High School, class of 1957. She is survived by two Brothers: Robert (Carolyn) and Joseph (Debra) Costantini. Her Three Sons: Richard, Edward and Kenneth (Julie), Welday, Six Grandchildren: Joseph (Kathryn), Robert, Kathryn, Jessica, Kimberly and Lauren, along with 5 Great Grandchildren: Lane, Karter, Maddox, Hudson and Avery. As well as several nieces and nephews.

Those who knew JoAnn will remember her for her sense of humor and her love for her Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Her legacy of love, strength, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

The family will have a small service at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery Chapel in Steubenville, on Friday, June 12, 2026 at Noon. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate her life.

JoAnn will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her friends and family.
