Obituary

Joann Baker, 87, of Steubenville, died Friday September 8, 2023 at the Carriage Inn. She was born November 30, 1935 in Steubenville. she is the daughter of the late Harold and Lillie Marker Ferguson. Joann is also preceded in death by her husband; Joseph,2 sons Joseph Clayton Baker II, Curtis James Baker, brother Harold Ferguson, and sisters, Edna Mae Looman, Doris Bertwell, Shirley Capriotti, Delores Snider.

Joann was a member of Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church and was a home maker.

Surviving are her son, Charles (Bobbie Jo) Baker of Steubenville and her daughter, Christy Jo (Daniel ) Isaac of Huntersville, NC. One brother, Ray “Butch” Ferguson, one sister, Lois Lucas both of Steubenville. Three grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Joann was an avid bowler, bingo player, and card club member.

Calling hours are Wednesday 2-5 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville where services will be held 11 am Thursday, Dee Kovach will officiate and burial Will take place at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates. Offer condolences, www.mostifuneralhome.com
