Joseph G. Izzi

Joseph G. Izzi, 86, of Wintersville died Friday, March 2, 2018 at Trinity West. He was born April 11, 1931 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Joseph and Vincetta Petrella Izzi.

Joseph was retired from Weirton Steel where he was a millwright. He was also a member of Blessed Sacrament Church where he was an usher, involved in the men's club, bingo and St. Joseph the Workers. Joseph proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife Marilyn Livingston Izzi, whom he married June 11, 1971; daughter Jennifer (Todd) Parker of Bloomingdale; step-children Jody (David) Tuttle of Steubenville, Susan Seirsdorfer of Sewickley, PA and Brian (Ginger) Bidish of Columbus; grandchildren Curtis Parker, T.C. Parker, David (Amber) Tuttle, Nick Tuttle, Betsy and Alex Seirsdorfer, Russell and Tanner Bidish. Three greatgranchildren, David, Peyton, and Emily, Tuttle.

Calling hours will be Monday from 4-7 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, Fr. Michael Gossett will celebrate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
