Joseph J. Pate

Joseph J. Pate, 85, of Steubenville died Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Trinity West. He was born August 10, 1938 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Bonaventura and Domenica DiCara Pate. Also preceded in death by his wife Donna Holiday Pate; infant son Christopher; twin infant brothers ,one sister Angeline DiBittista and a  brother Salvatore Pate.

Joseph was a retired meat cutter and a member of Triumph of the Cross Parish.

Surviving are two daughters Elaine (Christopher) Dennis of Steubenville and Carol (Phil) Acantilado of Richmond; four grandchildren, Timothy and Ashley Tennant, Tessa Dennis, Kylee Jo Dennis & three great grandchildren Lillianna Mignone,Gideon Burns, and Lillianna Castelli. Also surviving are one brother, Ronald (Rosemary) Pate of Wintersville and one sister, Marie Clancy of KY. 

Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 9:30 am until time of Services at 11:30 am at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
