Josephine C. Grantonic

Josephine C. Grantonic, 93, of Wintersville died Sunday, July 30, 2023 at her home. She was born January 30, 1930 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Enzo and Mary Menella Carfagna. She is also preceded in death by her husband George Grantonic; sisters Loretta Carfagna, Agnes Splenda and Edith Carfagna.

Josephine retired from Genuine Parts where she worked for 37 years. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and it’s CWC. Josephine loved to cook and spend time with family.

Surviving are nephews Robbie Splenda and Tim Rowland; niece Carianne Rowland Nice; great nephews Ryan and Stephen Splenda.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 10 am until 12 pm at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Funeral liturgy with Mass will follow at 12 pm, Fr. Michael Gossett will celebrate. Entombment will then follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
