Josette M. Potenzini

Josette M. Potenzini, 75, of Steubenville died Friday,  October 24, 2025 peacefully at home with her husband and her two children by her side. She was born December 6, 1949 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Pekera Pettinella. She is also preceded in death by brother Samuel “Sam” Pettinella.

Josette was a strong believer in her faith and a member of Triumph of the Cross Parish and was a graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School class of 1967. She always enjoyed spending time with family, going to the beach and attending grandchildren’s sporting events.

She is survived by her husband Frank Potenzini, whom she married October 3, 1970; son Ryan Potenzini of Steubenville; daughter Nicole (Robert) Mackey of Steubenville; two granddaughters Sophia and Riley, and her sister Sandra (Everett) Bragg of Steubenville.

Memorial visitation will be held Friday, October 31, at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville from 10:00am to 12:00pm. A funeral liturgy with mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church will then be celebrated at 12:30pm and burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
